We are offering a gorgeous vintage 1953 strung Vogue Ginny doll that comes to you in her original correctly marked box with A Vogue Doll silver wrist tag.    She is from the Talon Zipper Series issued that year called "Afternoon" and is #73.  She is hard plastic, 8" strung and is marked on her back Vogue Doll; no cracks, no repairs.  We have had her for many years and she has always been just stored in the box in our cabinet and never out on display; a previously owned doll.   She needs a new home where she can be taken out and enjoyed.  She comes to you in the box that we received her, correctly marked with her name and color hair and the correct box for the 1953 year.  It took us a while to find one for our collection that didn't have issues with the outfit or missing the slip; all is complete here.  We would consider her overall near mint - mint.  Everything is crisp, no tears, no repairs, never ironed.  Colors of outfit are bright and clean; no stains,
no
discolorations.  Wonderful center snap original black oil cloth shoes and white rayon socks; strong snaps, no repairs.
Ginny Afternoon has nice overall coloring, no touchups, no rubs and no scrapes to cheek color.  She has what looks like tri-color eyes (may be hard to see in photos) that need assistance to open and close which is common and acceptable to most collectors.   Her factory wig is nice and full and has the typical few stray hairs  the camera lens picks up as her
hair has not been re-styled
.   These are not something in person that you see easily and even the most mint in box doll does have a few stray hairs or fly away hairs as some call it.   We would consider her near mint in box because of the few stray  hairs and the condition of her box showing age wear; many might rate higher.  Her box is labeled correctly (see photo) and shows some typical expected wear and tear and tape one might expect for a box this age but still fairly nice considering the design of this particular box with the flip lid that usually does not survive as well as other boxes.  Label is intact and labeled correctly (see photos).  She has a silver A Vogue Doll original factory wrist tag too.  Her box  has kept her really nice all the years in our collection and will be included and protect her in route to her new home.

no added generic items or fixes
and one you don't find in this condition too often and with her box.  Often this outfit material seems to get splits, not here!  Her outfit is crisp, mint and tagged and she shows it off well we think.  Please take a look at all the photos and see if she isn't one you might like for your collection or a special gift for a loved one.
