    SS CHARLOTTETOWN (1931-1941)
    Charlottetown SS was a Ice Breaking Car Ferry
    that carried rail cars, autos and passengers between New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island. She was owned by Canadian National Railway. On the 18th June 1941, Charlottetown, in ballast and no passengers on board, from Port Mouton to St. John's for a refit, went aground and sank, off Little Hope Island, near Port Mouton. There were no casualties.
