    Hi, once it's warmed up and you add the cotton candy sugar it makes it fairly quickly. I would say about 3 mins. I got this for my 8 year old daughter and It was great. She makes for 5 of us on movie nights at home. Just make sure to but the sugar and cones for it.

    Hi, I'm not sure what sugar your talking about but I use the flossing stage that is meant for cotton candy and you can use care candy. They tell you what candy you can and can't used in the instruction. Hope that help.

    It took awhile to heat up. Ours works.
