    In 1884 Frank Haynes opened a photography store and studio at Mammoth Hot Springs in Yellowstone Park. This was the first of numerous such photo shops to be erected throughout the Park.
    Haynes became, for all intents and purposes, the official photographer of Yellowstone National Park.
    These old souvenir photo paperweights of prominent features of Yellowstone National Park have become highly collectible.
