BTC 2-22 Safety Latch Metal Lifting Hook

Up for bids is a BTC 2-22 metal lifting hook. A nice sturdy piece of hardware, but I'm not certain how much weight it can hold, so I don't want to throw a number out there and have someone end up with a car dropped on them or anything like that! The latch works well, and the hook turns easily, so from what I can tell it should be fully functional.
