Amazing Native American Indian Female Tin Type Photo Rifle & Knife! Tintype

An outstanding rare image of a Native American Indian woman posing with a rifle and a large knife. This piece went through the hand of two prominent collectors and has always been a great topic of discussion and conversation piece. I listed some photos of this image on a Talking Antiques forum a few years ago, and quite a lengthy discussion entailed. Some thought it to be a possible Wabanaki or Iroquois female subject. Others thought her to be European & theatrical. Either way is is very unusual and I have greatly enjoyed owning it. I have decided to offer it along with a couple great Civil War soldiers in a couple other of my current auctions. The last photo shows the tintype out of the case. The case is separated but the locking clasp is intact. I took several photos of different parts of the image to see. You'll probably not see another like this that I can imagine.
